Trading
BGN trades a broad range of energy and commodities products including oil products, gas products, renewables, agro products, metals and critical minerals.
We work directly with national oil companies, global producers, refineries and industrial partners to ensure reliable, competitive access to essential fuels and energy worldwide.

Distribution
BGN manages the movement of a broad range of energy products including crude, oil and gas products, as well as petrochemicals and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) through a network of terminals, storage and blending facilities; state-of-the-art shipping fleet and specialized logistics partners.
From import through to final delivery, our focus is on safe, timely and compliant distribution, giving customers reliable access to essential energy supply and the products needed for their downstream operations.

Shipping & Chartering
BGN operates one of the world’s largest dual-fuel shipping fleets with around 40 vessels transporting millions of tonnes of crude and fuel oils, gas products, chemicals, petroleum products and dry bulk cargoes each year.
Our modern dual-fuel VLGCs can run on traditional and cleaner fuels, supporting maritime decarbonization while meeting leading international standards, including IMO, SIGTTO and MARPOL.

Storage & Blending
Our global network of storage facilities ensures fuel is available when and where it’s needed. BGN operates chemical storage tanks in Charleston and Houston, Antwerp and Rotterdam and partners with leading tank terminal operators worldwide.
Our blending operations in the USA, Spain, Malta, Cyprus and the UAE enable us to optimize product quality and value for our international customers.

Risk Management
Risk management is a core pillar of BGN’s operations. We operate a comprehensive framework covering governance, systems and people – supported by advanced technology including a leading CTRM platform.
We maintain real-time oversight of exposures and P&L and use advanced risk metrics, including VaR, scenario analysis and stress testing.
Our risk function is led by experienced professionals who provide independent oversight and report to the Risk Committee, ensuring strong risk governance across all activities.

Climate Solutions & Carbon Trading
Carbon management is central to BGN’s sustainable trading strategy. Our Carbon Desk oversees EU ETS compliance and hedging, develops voluntary and CORSIA-eligible carbon projects and integrates carbon exposure across our trading activities.
By participating in both regulated and voluntary markets, we help customers meet their decarbonization goals while embedding carbon reduction into BGN’s commercial operations.
